And the winner is......

We would like to congratulate Tommy Turner for being elected as the MPD Enforcer 2.0's first Asshole of The Month. Also, we are accepting nominations for April until 04-08-08.

16 hours to go!

Come on folks. Caroline Mason has more votes than the AOTM. Lets get it kicking and don't forget to check back tomorrow and see the winner.

A message from the Prez

To all board members and officers who may receive this e-mail. It is very evident that certain people have been meeting and calling board members in an ill attempt to skew the boards decision making ability. I find it unprofessional and below par that attempts to influence the boards future decisions in any matter still exists by way of phone calls and behind closed door meetings. These are exactly the kinds of past behaviors that this Association needs to be directed away from in the future. Secret deals and behind closed door promises are just a few things that have crippled this Associations credibility with our membership in the past.

I do not believe a true leader should call any board member, or have private meetings, in an attempt to influence their decision. I am asking that when board members attend the next monthly meeting, you do so with an open mind and listen to all the facts, ideas, and reasoning prior to making a decision. We have a tendency to believe the first 'story' presented to us. Please, for the benefit of the Association and the members you represent, come to the next meeting with an open mind and not one which has been manipulated by rumors and behind closed door conversations which you may or may not have been part of. There are times when good common sense must prevail in order to achieve the best results for everyone involved.

I have received four phone calls from board members that were upset in the manner in which a certain individual has attempt to persuade the boards ability by presenting 'one sided' stories.

Thanks for your time
Gene Hulley

The AOTM voting is almost finished

Hurry up and vote for March's Asshole of the Month. Right now, it's close between Andre and Tommy. We've completed the design and will post it on the blog first for all to see. If you know the winner, print him off an extra copy and give it to him with your congrats.

On another subject, Lawrence has his panties up in a wad over our shirts. He's desperate to have us stop creating them, but cannot. Don't be jealous Larry, we'll send you one for free. Maybe it will make him happy and he'll quit being an asshole. Uh oh! I sense a nomination may be in order for April.

Dirk's identity

The 12th floor has been working overtime on trying to figure out who is behind this blog. They are signing blue slips like charging documents trying to get the dirt on "Dirk".

Let me put you at ease. "Dirk" was on the job when IBM numbers were 4 digits and crazy people were still called 603s. "Dirk" took care of his ward and left the MPD on good terms. In fact, there's a rumor that he's coming back to MPD. Maybe he is and maybe he isn't. Maybe "Dirk" is already there.

If Herenton goes and the new Mayor fires "Jackboots", the department might turn around in the right direction. No more catchy slogans, no more primping for the camera and no more BULLSHIT.

The department needs to get back into the business of fighting real crime and untie the hands of Uniformed Patrol. We all know that the line officer is on the front line. The ones who separate the citizens from the thugs. Stop all the BS discipline . Officers are being charged for bogus complaints and the 12th floor is too ignorant to realize that they are demoralizing hard working officers.

OCU kicks off Operation Pitchfork today

Another meaningless attempt to sway the public into thinking we are getting tough on crime. Show your support today! HAHAHAHA

Blue Crush, Displacing crime one block at a time

This new print is for the naysayers that think GODwin has a monopoly on the word "Blue Crush".

Rumor control Enforcer style.

There has been a lot of activity on this blog and we would like to thank all readers. However, there are many posts that make some claims that we would like to correct.

#1. Greg Woods has nothing to do with the Enforcer 2.0. He doesn't even know how to use a computer. We are run by many and edited by some.

#2. This blog is NOT being shut down.

#3. Our humorous merchandise is NOT violating ANY trademark. Look for more in the future.

#4. We are not out to make money off this site. We only want to provide a central location for people to express their ideas. The merchandise is sold by the company and pays us pennies on the dollar in royalty fees for the use of our design. Further, the purpose of the merch is to show support for officers, this blog and it's promotion.

#5. Herenton said it best. "Shake dem haters off".
