We received the below e-mail in regards to a retired officer's status:

hello i am a former police officer in Memphis. I'm not sure how many older police officers read this blog, but if they do i was wanting to let them know that my father, Jason Morris Jr. , a retired Lt. is is the hospital with liver disease. it doesn't look good and just wondered if you would post this and keep him in your prayers.
